Creating Output Packs

Sometimes, you may not need all fields available in the standard data export pack, and having a custom output pack can speed up your production workflow because you only pull out the specific fields in the export for your requirement. Well, OSCAR 4 makes it super simple to create and manage your custom export packs.

Follow these steps to create or modify your custom output packs.

  1. Click the spanner icon for the settings tab on the left-hand-side menu.
  2. Click on “Output Packs“.
  3. Click “Create Pack” (or “Edit” next to an existing pack to modify it).
  1. Give the custom output pack a name.
  2. Click “Add Fields“.
  1. Scroll through (or search) the list and click “Add” on the desired fields.
  2. Click “Back to pack creation“.
  1. You will be presented with the list of chosen fields, so you can click to add more fields or click the red X to remove them.
  2. Click “Save” to complete the creation/edit process.

Your custom out pack will now appear in the list of output packs and also at the point of export when placing your data order.
