Match Search

If you want to match and enrich, or suppress existing data, you can do this easily with OSCAR 4 using the Upload Search feature.

You can upload the files with the following type of datasets:

  • Company ID: This is the Company URN (Unique Reference Number) from OSCAR 4 with your data exports, or via data supplied via our Concierge Service.
  • Company Search: Upload a file of company names to enrich or exclude.
  • Contact ID: This is the Contact URN (Unique Reference Number) from OSCAR 4 with your data exports, or via data supplied via our Concierge.
  • CRN Search: This is the company registration number (e.g. Companies House Number) that’s issued by the government when a company is registered.
  • Email Search: Upload a file of emails (typically used when you want to exclude them from your order and get NET new records).
  • Email Hash Search: Similar to the email search, you can upload a file of emails encrypted with MD5 Hash (also typically used when you want to exclude them from your order and get NET new records).
  • Phone Search: Upload a file of phone numbers (Again, typically used to exclude from your order and get NET new records).
  • Web Domain: Upload a file of web domains to enrich or exclude.

Simply navigate to the “Search” tab of the Audience Builder and you will be presented with the selection of upload types.

The search configuration options can vary between the field types, however, the options and process are consistent. For this example, we will explore the “Company Search” option.

When in the “Company Search” module, you have 2 options to search.

  • A: Bulk Selection – This is when you can manually define the companies you wish to search for.
  • B: Upload Selection – This is where you can upload a CSV file of company names.
